HTC has launched a new smartphone namely ‘Desire 728G’ in India today. The device will be available in two variant colors such as Purple Myst and White Luxury. The company announced that the smartphone will be available with mobile operators and major retailers in India.

HTC (High-Tech Computer ) is a Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets which was established in 1997.  Initially, the Company manufactured the smartphones based mostly on Windows Mobile, later, in the year 2009, HTC expanded its focus and designed devices based on the Android and Windows phone. Now, the company focused on manufacturing smartphones that provide a completely customizable experience to its customers. Keeping up that word, the company has now launched Desire 728G in India. Key Specifications

HTC Desire 728G is a dual-SIM smartphone that features a 5.5-inch TFT display with a 1280 x 720-pixel resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor which is coupled with 1.5GB RAM. Heading to the memory, the device has an internal storage at 16GB which can be further expanded up to 2TB via external microSD card slot.

The new smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear auto focus rear camera with BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the other side, the device sports a 5MP front facing Camera. Both the cameras offer the ability to capture 1080p videos. The handset  includes a Motion G-Sensor, Compass Sensor, Proximity and Ambient Light sensor. Like other smartphones, the Desire 728G Dual SIM also features HTC BoomSound technology, which is supplemented by Dolby Audio as well.

In terms of Connectivity, the device supports 3G, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.1. The device runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with HTC Sense on top. The HTC Desire 728G Dual-SIM smartphone is backed by a 2800mAh battery. The company claims that the device will offer talk time up to 26 hours on 2G and up to 21 hours on 3G.
