The Makers Of Movie ‘Akhil’ Set To Release This Diwali?

Akhil Akkineni’s debut film ‘Akhil – The Power of Jua’ is finally set to release this Diwali. After announcing many dates for the release, the filmmakers finalized the release date of ‘Akhil’.  The film ‘Akhil’ was supposed to release on October 22. Due to some VFX related issues, the release date was postponed. Few days ago, there was a rumor that the producer of the film Nithin and actor Nagarjuna are planning to release the movie next year January on the occasion of Pongal.

Akhil movie set to release on Diwali

Despite some VFX issues, the film missed the festive season in October and were planning to release the film this Diwali on November 11. This is a good news for the Akkineni fans as they won’t have to wait long for the film. According to the reports, the post-production work of the film has almost completed and the team is ready to release the film during Diwali. Thus, ‘Akhil’ also joined the list of films releasing this Diwali.

There are many films which set the release during Diwali and the month of November is going to get jammed with Tollywood films releases. The movie will have a parallel Tamil version. Tamil version film release was in doubt as Ajith’s ‘Vedhalam’ and Kamal’s ‘Thoongavanam’ are set to release on November 10th. ‘Aayirathil Iruvar’ and ‘Naarathan’ also joined the race. But the makers of ‘Akhil’ announced movie will have a parallel Tamil release.

As the makers had missed Dussera festival release, the makers don’t want to miss this festive mood and they are planning to cash on it for the most part. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the release date. As three big films, ‘Nannaku Prematho’, ‘Brahmotsavam’ and ‘Dictator’ would release for Pongal, ‘Akhil’ producers had taken a good decision to release this Diwali.

V.V.Vinayak has directed the movie and Sayesha Segal has done the female lead role. The film also marks the debut of Sayesha Saigal. Naga Chaitanya’s new film ‘Saahasam Swasaga Sagipo’, directed by Gautam Menon and Nagarjuna’s ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ was supposed to hit screens for Diwali, but now the films have been postponed to December.
