Police Report: A speeding truck in Uttam Nagar, Delhi crushed a 23-year-old man to death on Wednesday evening.

 23-year-old Nitin Kapoor, a resident of Uttam Nagar, was returning home by riding his scooter on Wednesday evening, the reported time of the accident was around 11 PM.

The police said that a speeding truck crushed him to death near the Nawada Metro Station.

The police added that the driver of the speeding truck left the scene after the accident happened. The truck has a plate number of Haryana and had a load of Tile.

After knowing about the incident, mad locals started a fire on the truck. After knowing about the situation, the local police rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control.

The police said that an FIR has been registered under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and a team has been assigned to find and arrest the driver.
