Recently the world woke up to the news that the Ambani’s scion is now engaged to his longtime beau, Shloka Mehta. Akash Ambani planned the proposal at a private resort in Goa amid the presence of both the families. Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta are childhood best friends and are very happy to share their life together. After the couple got engaged both the families had a celebratory dinner before returning back to Mumbai.

Ambani’s after returning back from Goa went straight to Siddhivinayak temple with their to-be daughter in law and took the God’s blessings for the newly engaged couple. They then hosted a pre-engagement party where a lot of celebrities marked their presence.

Akash along with Shloka stepped outside to pose for the photographers but Akash lost his cool suddenly and warned the photographer not to take the photograph while Shloka was posing. Here’s the video where Akash asked the photographer not to take the photo.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta have known each other since their childhood as they both studied in Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Both of them later flew out of the country for their studies. Akash went to Brown University and has a degree in Economics while Shloka went to Princeton to study Anthropology.

She then completed her masters in Law at The London School of Law and Political Science. Akash revealed that though they were far away from each other they have always found a way to get connected with each other and says he is lucky enough to marry his best friend.

While Shloka gushed and revealed that her beau, Akash is very down to earth and Nita revealed that she had known Shloka since she was a 4year old kid and says there are lucky to get a daughter-in-law like her.

Shloka Mehta is the daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta. Russell Mehta owns the company Rosy Blue diamonds in which Shloka Mehta is also a director. Apart from this, she is working on her own startup called ConnectFor which connects NGO’s and the volunteers.

She says she is more into philanthropical works than into diamonds. While Akash is working as the chief strategist for the Jio telecom and brought a huge revolution in the world of telecommunications, right from the start. He is also a director in Reliance Industries Limited.
