Akhil – The Power Of Jua Movie Review:

Akkineni Akhil made his debut through the film Sisindri in 1995, produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni on Great India Enterprises banner, directed by Shiva Nageswara Rao. V. V. Vinayaka direct is huge plus point for the movie. Brahmi comedy is major highlight of the movie. The story was little bit interesting. First half interval twist is the main key role of the whole film.

All artists performed well up to their mark. Nagarjuna’s entry in the second half song gave good goose bumps to Akkineni fans in the theatres. Sayesha acting is very nice & she also danced well in songs along with young actor. Kona Venkat dialogues are just Ok, Thaman BGM is not that great. Lot of illogical and mishandled things in the second half. First half carried ok feel but second half ruined it to the core.

Star Cast Performances:

  • Akhil action was superb and mind blowing in dances, fights and dialogues.
  • Sayesha acting is also very nice. Even though this is first film for her but her maturity in action was surprise.
  • Rajendra Prasad done a father role of hero and he has done a good and decent job.

Plus Points:

  • Akhil Performance & Dance
  • Nagarjuna’s entry in the Song
  • Brahmanandam & Vennela Kisore Comedy
  • Sayyesha Saighal was the beauty with talent

Negative Points:

  • Screenplay
  • BGM is not that great
  • Worst Love Scenes between Akhil and Sayyeesha
  • Actors were not properly utilized.

All India Roundup Rating: 2.25/5

Final Verdict:

Finally, Akhil is a good platform for launching a star hero’s son debut with good story but Vinayak failed it most the times. Festive Hit, but didn’t reach the expectation of audience.
