Ali Zafar & His Wife Got Kidnapped, And Were Released After Receiving A Huge Ransom!
Ali Zafar, a singer turned actor debuted in the Bollywood industry with the movie “Tere Bin Laden.” he was last seen in the movie dear Zindagi starring Alia Bhatt and Shahrukh Khan. He started his career as a sketch artist in Pearl Continental hotel in Lahore. He is born in a Punjabi family in Lahore.
He met his wife Ayesha while he was a sketch artist in the hotel. He said in an interview that “Oct 2000 this girl came to get her portrait made from me at a hotel lobby where I used to sit to draw. Guess who is she now?”
“I was very lucky that my father-in-law was a big fan of music and movies. Actually, his dad used to make movies. Jab unse mila and he found out that I can sing, he was overjoyed. In fact, kya hua ki they didn’t know that we were dating. So unhone kaha ki chalo gaana-vaana karte hai, doston ko bulate hain. Unhone mera gaane suna hi nahi tha usse pehle.”

“Toh ho sakta tha ki main bahut bura singer hota and woh sab log aa jaate. (What could have happened was I could be a bad singer and all the guests would have come) But that night I sang on a little keyboard and people were sitting till 4 am and all his friends enjoyed a lot. And then I remember charming her mother by making a big lifesize portrait of her. I still have that. They’re wonderful people.”
Ali took Ayesha for a dinner and they were kidnapped once. The family had to pay a whopping 2.5million to release them from the Kidnappers. Ali Zafar later got married to Ayesha in 2009. Ali Zafar also acted in the television industry and was quite popular in the same.
He acted in some of the Bollywood movies like Luv Ka The End, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, London, Paris, New York, Chashme Baddoor, Total Siyapaa, Kill Dil, Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive and Dear Zindagi. He is currently working in Pakistani movies named Teefa in trouble and Deosai.
