Tollywood actress Anushka Shetty, who gained nearly 20 kilos for her upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual ‘Size Zero,’ is all set to enroll herself for a special weight loss programme since the actor who will be joining the shooting of Baahubali 2 has to lose the extra weight.

The actor gained nearly 20 kilos for the film, Size Zero where she plays an obese girl. Now, she has to shed a few kilos before she joins the sets of Baahubali: The Conclusion. Hence, she will be undergoing a weight loss therapy in the US to suit her role for Baahubali 2.

“She was supposed to fly to US earlier this month but got held up due to the release and promotions of her latest film Rudhramadevi,” the source said. On Tuesday, filmmaker SS Rajamouli began work on the second installment of the Baahubali franchise. Anushka and other lead actors of the film are expected to join the sets from November.

“Anushka has a very important role in the second part and hence, she’s concentrating on losing the extra weight as soon as possible,” the source said.  Going by the level of dedication that Anushka has, she will get back to the shape very soon, despite the very little time she was given,” the sources added.

Nearly 40 percent of Baahubali 2 has already been wrapped up and the makers plan to shoot the remaining portion over the course of the next six months. The 33-year old star has recently bagged a huge hit with the historical film, ‘Rudramadevi.’ Anushka also has a handful of projects in her kitty, including “Oopiri”, “Thozha” and “Singam 3”
