Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra’s “Brothers” has recorded as the Second highest film in the total opening weekend collections after Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The movie is directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Dharma Productions in which Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra played the lead roles as warring siblings. The movie hit the screens on August 14 i.e., on Friday and within less than 24 hours, the film has received phenomenal response across the places Hyderabad, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. “Brothers” three days box office collection stands at Rs 52.08 crore, which is considered as second highest weekend collections compared to other films.

Brothers – Second Highest Opening Weekend

With its, three days box office collections, the movie has recorded as the Second highest opening weekend. Interestingly, this movie is also the highest opening weekend for both the heroes Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra who played lead roles as siblings. It is good news for the entire team of Brothers as it has crossed Rs. 50 crore mark in its opening weekend.

Brothers – Three Days Box Office Collections

Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starred ‘Brothers’ has crossed Rs. 50 crore in the three days and stands at Rs. 52.08 crore. In this movie, Jacqueline Fernandez played the female lead role while Jackie Shroff and Shefali Shah played the supporting roles. As the movie is released on August 14, it is a benefit for the movie to get two days continuous holidays so that people watched it eventually the collections have been raised. On the first day of its release, it has collected Rs.15.20 crore. On the second day, i.e., on the weekend which was Independence Day, the movie has recorded a 40 percent jump by collecting Rs.21.43 crore net at the box office. For two days, totally it has collected upto Rs.36.63 crore at Box Office.
