Kohinoor is a Comedy-Romantic movie set in the backdrop of 1987-88. It showcases the life of Louis(Asif Ali) who’s the only aim in life is to earn wealth and name. So he takes helps from his close companions Aandikunju (Aju Varghese), Haider (Indrajith), Freddy (Sunny Wayne), and Nicholas (Chemban Vinod Jose), who comes from Kochi. In the meanwhile, Louis falls in love with Daisy (Aparna Vinod), a sales girl. What plans are they making to accomplish their mission forms the plot of the movie.

The movie features two songs, “Hemanthamen” sung by Vijay Yesudas and “Dum Dum Dum” by Vineeth Sreenivasan. The movie is said to be a comedy entertainer. Asif and Indrajith onscreen chemistry is one of the best things about the movie.
