SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali has been an inspiration to many filmmakers and has set new benchmarks in film making and presentation. Along with filmmakers, this movie has also inspired some creative minds for Ganesha idols. Many lord Ganesha idol makers are said to have started creating idols similar to Prabhas’ pose, where he carries a ‘Shivling’ on his shoulder. Prabhas considers it a compliment.

Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, which falls on September 17 this year, Prabhas is happy to hear that his pose from his magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning has inspired some of the creative minds to make Ganesha idols.

“After learning the news, Prabhas is very keen to visit one such idol during the festival and take blessings. He is extremely flattered with the way his character has connected with audiences across and the kind of impact it has had,” his spokesperson said in a statement.

Idol makers have been busy since the last three months for making Lord Ganesha Idols. Now our Ganpati Bappa is more muscular and even has six pack abs to flaunt. The Baahubali styled Ganpati idols are selling like hot cakes in the market as well.
