Indian cinema lost the versatile actress and one of a legendary actress of Bollywood Sridevi who took her last breath in Dubai on February 25. She was only 54 and cause of her death was a major cardiac arrest. Sridevi’s untimely death has left a void in the entire film fraternity in India.

Many celebrities and politicians took Twitter to share their grief but her demise is perhaps the biggest loss to her family. It was just five months before her elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor’s Bollywood debut, Sridevi died in Dubai.

She was in Dubai to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding when she suffered a cardiac arrest on Saturday night, leaving her family, fans, and Bollywood in shock. While her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor accompanied Sridevi to the wedding in Dubai, Jhanvi decided to stay behind in Mumbai to shoot for her debut film Dhadak.

Amidst all the speculations, the Dubai Police have finally cleared the release of Sridevi’s mortals after almost 3 days of her death. Condolences, tweets, posts, and tributes are dedicated to the actress by the Celebrities, Politicians and common people across the country.

Sridevi has touched many lives, fans across generations and Internet sensation Priya Prakash Varrier is no different. The young girl from Thrissur who became an overnight internet sensation after a wink in her debut film Oru Adaar Love. She already has several fan clubs running under her name and one of them posted a heartwarming tribute to Sridevi.

Everyone has so far seen Priya’s playful wink, but this time she got emotional in the video posted. Priya was seen singing ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ song from Karan Johar’s film by the same name. The caption to the video shared by Priya’s fan club says ‘History never really says goodbye. History says, ‘See you later.’

She earlier took to Twitter and wrote, “Heartbroken & shocked to hear that my all-time favorite #Sridevi is no more. She will always live in our hearts forever. May God give peace to her soul & strength to the family #RIP.”

The Dubai Public Prosecutors Office today closed the investigation into Bollywood actor Sridevi’s death and cited the forensic report to say she had accidentally drowned following the loss of consciousness.
