The movie ended with a scene that generated more curiosity among the audiences. The end scene was that loyal Kattappa killed the great Baahubali from behind. The question that took rounds on social media is that why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? In a talk show on TV5, Rajamouli was asked by ‘Baahubali’ cinematographer Senthil and his wife Rama ‘Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?’ as they can’t handle the pressure from the public.

Rajamouli Explains Why Did Kattappa Kill Baahubali?

In response, Rajamouli said – ‘Kattappa is someone who is very loyal to Simhasanam & Sivagami. He is more loyal to one more person. If you can guess who the person is, You will get the answer!’.

This made everyone think about the mystery man. After few seconds, Rajamouli himself revealed: “It’s simple! Kattappa is more loyal to Me (Director) than Bhallaladeva and Sivagami. If I order, He would kill ‘Baahubali”.

He also added “I need a year time to complete the pending shooting and post-production works of Baahubali The Conclusion and I think Kattappa is on his job to make audience eagerly wait till 2016 for part two”.
