Rajkumar Hirani Tried To Insult A Famous Politician In Sanju & Censor Board Couldn’t Stopped. Here’s The Reason ..

“Sanju” a movie based on the life story of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, Starring Ranbir Kapoor hit theaters on June 29, 2018. The movie joined the 100 crore club within the 3 days of its release. It broke so many records and became the highest opener of the year and highest first-weekend earner.

The director of the film Rajkumar Hirani did wonders again with his direction skills and got praisings from all the critics and viewers. After watching this movie in a special screening, Sunjay Dutt couldn’t stop himself from crying and hugging Ranbir and Hirani.
As ” Sanju” is the purely based on Sanjay Dutt’s life, it showed all of his journeys from the addiction of drugs to Bombay blast case 1993 along with some other important moments.

Sanjay Dutt had visited a famous and influential politician to request him for help in his cases, Based on this Rajkumar Hirani tried to insult that political leader in his own way.

Rajkumar created this scene in ” Sanju ” as Ranbir tried to request help for his issues to Aanjjan Shrivastava, who played the role of a political leader. While Ranbir explaining his all problems and issues to the political leader, he falls asleep and then a satirical voice-over was heard when Ranbir said,

“We still don’t know whether he pretended to go to sleep to avoid hearing my problems or he actually fell asleep.”

This famous politician can be easily identified by the people who know the actual story of Sanjay Dutt and his case. However, we all know that Sanjay met prime minister for help in his legal issues in the year of 1999.

after being questioned, a censor board member said that

“We all knew whom the film was referring to. But he is mentioned only as ‘The Politician’. If we raised a hue and cry about it this venerated politician’s name would’ve been out in the public domain and the film’s team would have denied it was the politician we all know.”

We can say that Rajkumar Hirani played smartly by hiding the politician name in the movie!
