Ravi Teja’s Bengal Tiger Set To Roar By Month-End (November) 2015

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s most awaited Telugu movie “Bengal Tiger” is all set to hit the theatres screens worldwide at the end of this month (November,2015).  From the past few days there were rumours that Bengal Tiger would be released only in 2016, as the producer was keen on a longer interval between Kick 2 and Bengal Tiger. Bengal Tiger movie producer KK Radha Mohan has confirmed the movie would hit the screens either on November 26 or 27, depending on the availability of adequate number of screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

“Nobody expected such as response to Kick 2, which is easily one of the most forgettable movies of the Mass Maharaja. We are given to understand that the protagonist’s role played by Ravi Teja in Bengal Tiger has a resemblance to the one in Kick 2. So, it was obvious that the producer of Bengal Tiger wanted to play it safe. Now that everything has been cleared, the movie should hit the theatres as planned this month,” said Kona Reddy, a Telugu movie distributor.

Earlier the film was announced to release in October 2015. Later the makers announced that the film’s will be release on 18 September 2015 coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi .  Ravi Teja has announced the film’s release date as 5 November 2015, making it one of the Diwali releases of the year. But the film release was postponed again to 27 November 2015 to avoid clash with Akhil’s Akhil: The Power Of Jua movie.

Satellite Rights Of Ravi Teja’s ‘Bengal Tiger’ Sold:

The movie is written and directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by K.K. Radha Mohan under the banner Sri Satya Sai Arts.  The Movie features Ravi Teja, Tamannaah and Rashi Khanna in the lead roles while Boman Irani, Rao Ramesh and Sayaji Shinde appear in crucial supporting roles in the movie.  Bheems Cecireleo composes the film’s music while Soundararajan handles the cinematography and Editing is done by Gautham Raju.

The movie went on the floors with plenty of hype. Even the Hindi dubbing rights were sold for ₹26 million to a Mumbai-based distributor which is the highest ever amount for a Ravi Teja’s film. The global satellite rights of the film were sold for ₹7.8 crore.

Recently Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has indicated that he needed a makeover to stay afloat. As a consequence, in his next untitled project to be directed by Venu Sree Ram, Ravi Teja will be seen in a different image.
