RGV was trolled by famous telugu TV anchor Suma Kanakala, and what hurted Ram Gopal Varma commented back is just shocking. In one of the episodes of a telugu TV program called ‘Soundarya Lahari,’ aired on ETV and hosted by Director K Raghavendra Rao, Sridevi was invited as a guest to reveal about her collaboration in the past with Raghavendra Rao. In the same episode, RGV, who is known as great fan of Sridevi was also invited.

During a conversation, Suma asked RGV, “Previously, you spoke about the influence the song in Vetagadu had for a song in Govinda Govinda. Similarly, call it influence or coincidence, a scene in Johny Johny (In Telugu-Adavi Simham) as it is, is seen in your film,” and then showed a visual clip where a scene in RGV’s film resembles a scene in Raghavendra Rao’s film.

RGV says, “I swear upon my mom, with Balaji as my witness, I haven’t seen this movie,” adding, “But I didn’t understand the context. Why was this shown here? Is this to prove in front of Sridevi that I copy. It’s a conspiracy. Raghavendra Raoji, I came trusting you. You have hatched a conspiracy to lower me in front of Sridevi. You doing this is not at all right.”
