Director Gunasekhar and Anushka Shetty’s “Rudhramadevi” is a 2015 Telugu 3D historical film based on the life of Rudrama Devi, one of the prominent rulers of the Kakatiya dynasty. Released on 9th October worldwide, the movie has received an earth-shattering response from the audience.

‘Rudramadevi’ is really doing well at the box office and the Telugu Version of the movie is garnering huge box office collections. It has collected over Rs 11 crores (gross) on the on Day 1 in AP and Nizam. Baahubali collected a gross collection of Rs 22 crores and Srimanthudu movie has collected Rs 14.72 Crores on day 1 in AP and Nizam. Hence, Rudramadevi stood as third Day 1 highest grosser in AP/Nizam for the year 2015.
