Sania Mirza Wanted To Marry This Big Bollywood Star But Shoaib Malik Came In Between
Bollywood and cricket have an old relationship. Tales of Bollywood stars falling in love with cricketers is a common scenario. Some sports players of India are famous internationally due to their fantastic contribution in their respective game. One of them is India’s famous Tennis star, Sania Mirza.
Sania Mirza is married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Mallik. She was born on November 15, 1986, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Sania was 18 years old when she awarded Padma Sri. It was Shoaib and Sania’s love marriage to each other. Sania Mirza’s father was a sports correspondent and mother was an employee in some printing company.
Sania faced a lot of criticism for her marriage to a Pakistani. People called her betrayer and demanded that she should not get a permit to play for India now. But it never happened, she is still playing for India. Before marrying to Shoaib Malik, Sania was engaged to childhood friend Sohrab Mirza but due to his and his family’s conservative nature, Sania ended this relationship.
During her presence in a popular chat show, Koffee With Karan, when the host Karan Johar asked: “if she gets a chance to work in films with whom she would like to star on screen?” To this, she replied, Salman Khan. On asking “whom she would like to date?” She gave a very surprising answer, she took the name of none other than the Bollywood’s heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.
When then Karan asked Sania the third question that if she would not marry Shoaib, then she chooses which actor to be her husband. Again Sania replied Ranbir Kapoor. Sania said she had a huge crush on Ranbir Kapoor and wanted to marry him. She got married to Shoaib in 2010 and now she is pregnant with her first child.
