Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer “Srimanthudu” is on its way smashing records not only in India, but also in US. Srimanthudu has hit theatres world-wide on August 7, 2015 two days prior to Mahesh Babu’s birthday. The movie is getting fantabulous and overwhelming response from the theatres, fans and critics across the globe. Srimanthudu has grossed Rs 101.25 crore in its first week globally as per a statement on Friday. The movie is breaking records of popular Tollywood films in its Box office collections. With this extraordinary opening, “Srimanthudu” has become the Second Highest grossing Movies in Tollywood.

Srimanthudu movie has hit screens with a unique concept of adopting a village which is written and directed by Koratala Siva. Mahesh Babu starrer “Srimanthudu” movie released in 400 screens in Tamilnadu and more than 800 screens across the country. Totally, the movie was released across 2150 theatres globally in the areas like Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, North India and Overseas (US). The movie released in Tamil dubbed versions for the people of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Now, the latest news is that, Srimanthudu has set a record and stood Second highest grossing films of Tollywood. Srimanthudu Beats ‘Robo’ Collections

Srimanthudu is all along its way in smashing the records across the world by beating most popular films. As per the latest reports, Srimanthudu has beaten Rajinikanth’s Robo records by collecting $2.429,412 in first nine days after its release. Earlier, Robo has collected $2,408,824 in US and stood in a top position. Now, Srimanthudu has broken records of Robo. It must be noted that, the figure which is mentioned were the combined collections of Robo’s Tamil and Telugu versions in US, whereas the Telugu version of Srimanthudu alone collected $2.429,412.

Srimanthudu is creating sensation through its massive collections and stood next to Rajamouli’s Baahubali both in India and US. However, it is breaking records of topmost movies, but it is hard to beat the box office collections of Baahubali. Srimanthudu has entered into 2 Million club currently and seems to enter S3 Million club very soon.
