Intex Cloud Champ With 4.5-inch display, 3G Support Launched in India At Rs 3,999

Intex technologies, the domestic smartphone makers has rolled out a new smartphone under its Cloud series namely Intex Cloud Champ in India at an affordable price of Rs. 3, 999. Intex seems to expand its budget lineup with the launch of new Cloud Champ. The company has announced that the device is now listed on the company’s official website. Intex has launched a new entry-level Android smartphone at an affordable price range.

In the month of December 2015, the company has launched two new smartphones in which one is under the Aqua series and the other comes under cloud series. Intex launched Cloud Flash Smartphone with a double Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and other smartphone called Intex Aqua Star 4G. The new Intex Cloud Champ sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a pixel resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572X processor which is paired with 512MB of RAM. It is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on a slightly older Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. On the storage front, the device includes an onboard storage of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The handset measures 136 × 67.5 × 8.7mm. In terms of connectivity, the device supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, and GPS. The smartphone is power-packed by a 1700mAh battery that completes the package. The company claims that the device is promising up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 298 hours of standby time.

Earlier this month, the domestic handset maker in partnership with Truecaller announced that it would substitute the native dialer app on its smartphones with the Truecaller dialler.
