The company has launched Motorola Droid Turbo 2 in the US and now it has launched its dubbed version, Moto X Force. The new Motorola Moto X Force with a shatterproof screen will see an Indian launch soon. Amit Boni, the country head of Motorola India has recently revealed this news at a press conference.

Moto X Force Launch in India

Last month, the company announced that Moto X Force will be made available in international markets, including India in November. After the Moto X Play followed by the low-cost flagship Moto X Style, the Moto X Force will be Motorola’s first smartphone to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset this year. One of the amazing features of the Moto X Force is the shatter-proof screen that protects its Quad HD flexible P-OLED display that makes for Motorola’s ShatterShield technology.

The company claims that it requires much force to break the screen of Moto X Force as it comes with a shatterproof display. ‘Moto Shattershield’ technology has been integrated into this device with multiple layers of material, which helps in absorbing the shock and prevent the screen from cracking. Motorola is also offering a 4-year warranty on the device’s screen that covers damage to the display.

Also, the device comes with a standard water-resistant nano-coating, which makes the device more durable when compared to its competitors. The company has even used two touchscreen layers, so that the smartphone remains usable even if one of the layers is cracked.

Moto X Force sports a 5.4-inch QuadHD display with a 2560×1440 pixels resolution and 544 pixels per inch paired with 3GB of RAM. The handset comes with two internal storage options such as 16GB and 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 2TB through a microSD card. The smartphone features a 21-megapixel rear camera bundled with a f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash and Phase Detect Autofocus. It is also equipped with a 5-megapixel front camera with flash and a f/2.0 aperture.

Moto X Force is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor that runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The handset is backed by a 3,760mAh battery that comes with a TurboCharger. The Company ensures that the device can deliver up to 13 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging. On Connectivity front, the Moto X Force supports 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth.

Considering the price of Motorola Moto X Style, we are expecting that the higher-specd Moto X Force will be priced in the range of Rs 38,000 – Rs 42,000. However, the company did not mention the exact date for the release due to some logistics issue in delivering the personalization software.
