Esmond Allcock, a 108-year-old Canadian man, who says that the secret to living a long life is by simply picking a good wife.

Esmond Allcock celebrated his 108 birthday on January 26 last year, bud sadly, he passed away on March 22, 2018, at the age of 108 years and 55 days.

Esmond Johnston Allcock was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Before he passed away, Esmond explained how he managed to live a long life, “I didn’t behave myself for a few years there, but then I got a really good wife.”

The wife of Esmond, Helen, passed away 8 years ago after being married to each other for 72 years.

Esmond lived alone in their family home for some time, but he then decided to live in the Kerrobert Health center.

When the employees of the Kerrobert Health Centre surprised him for his 108th birthday party.

He said, “Oh they nearly drove me nuts. They probably took 100 pictures of me.”

Even the Mayor of the town, Wayne Mock, decided to crash at his birthday party.

Esmond has 67 living relatives which include 11 great-great-grandchildren and 38-grandchildren.
