Police Report: A man was arrested after he allegedly slit his girlfriend’s throat for roaming with someone else.

The police said that the incident happened in Farsh Bazar on Sunday.

22-year-old Deepak took the woman to Bihari Colony on March 31. An argument broke out between the two after the woman denied that she was going out with someone else.

In her complaint, the woman said that 22-year-old Deepak attacked her attacked her with a sharp weapon.

The woman called her sister who lives in the area after she gained consciousness.

The woman added that she reached the house of her sister while blood was coming out from her throat.

She was rushed to a hospital afterwards.

The police have attained a CCTV footage that captured the incident.

On Wednesday the police arrested 22-year-old Deepak.

The woman is now out of danger and has been discharged from the hospital.
