Fire Breaks Out In The Customs Office Of The Indira Gandhi International Airport  

New Delhi: On Tuesday morning, a fire broke out in the Customs Office of the Indira Gandhi International Airport, officials said that important documents were destroyed when the fire broke out in the office.

Officials said that the fire was reported on 7:45 AM on Monday, 4 fire trucks were sent to the airport immediately.

The official added that the fire broke out on the 2nd floor of the customs building, the fire was under control by 9 PM.

Luckily no person was harmed in the incident.

DCP Sanjay Bhatia said that the fire broke out in the customs office and spread out to other rooms, he also said that important documents were damaged during the fire.

He added, “We have called a team of experts to ascertain the exact cause of the fire and the probe is underway.”

A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory will be investigating about the incident.
