IRCTC Base Kitchen Goes Live

 As the quality of the Indian Railway’s food is always in the controversy as many of its passengers have suffered a lot from this so nowadays government has been working on it by taking some of the wise initiatives. So from now, Indian Railways passengers can easily keep an eye on the quality of food that they are being served by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation. It has been made possible from now to live to stream the IRCTC kitchens by Indian Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.

it is considered that for enhancing the quality of food, and hygiene standards in IRCTC kitchen this step has been taken. Today the live streaming feature of IRCTC’s base kitchens has been inaugurated by the Ashwani Lohani who is the Railway Board Chairman.

The live streaming of kitchen operations will help a lot to Irctc passenger as through this live feature railway passengers can keep an eye on the quality of food, and can check how the food is being prepared and packed in IRCTC kitchen. if one wants to keep an eye on the Indian railway food, then he/she have to go through the IRCTC website and under the gallery section, there is a link which features the live streaming of kitchens feature.

As per the IRCTC, the live streaming of kitchen feature will increase the transparency and help in building the trust of people . and with this move, public confidence will go up in the quality of meals that is provided by IRCTC.
it is said in a statement of IRCTC that “Live streaming will go a long way in increasing transparency and public confidence in the quality of food cooked at IRCTC-monitored base kitchens. The live streaming can be accessed by anyone on IRCTC’s website under the gallery link,”

Recently, CCTV cameras in irctc kitchens are installed by IRCTC, through which operations were being monitored in the kitchen.
The live streaming of kitchens features help to detect any deviation in the kitchen operations like chefs working without uniforms and hats, the presence of rodents or cockroaches etc. the software generates For each complaint and the kitchen manager is responsible for course correction.


In the meantime, IRCTC’s base kitchen in Noida has also been inspected by Ashwani Lohani. In the Rajdhani, Duronto and Shatabdi trains, 10,000 meals per day have been served and the IRCTC kitchen has a unique food testing lab which is not present in the aviation sector.
