Drunk Man Gets 6 Months Prison Term After Farting In Uber Taxi While Going To Club
A man has received a suspended jail sentence for farting in an Uber Taxi.
It was reported that 35-year-old James Mallett farted when he was being driven in a Uber Taxi. He was headed to the Chasers Nightclub in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire.
The driver of the Uber has been identified as Alexsander Bonchchev.
Alexsander, the driver, was not pleased by the actions that Mallett was doing, especially when he ended up farting.
The passenger of the taxi was drunk when the incident happened.
At one point, the driver also told James that he needs to leave the taxi.
The Bristol Crown Court heard how Mallet left the vehicle.
But as he was leaving, he offered to fight the driver, and the driver ended up striking in an act of self-defense.
The passenger ended up pleading guilty to assault.
The incident happened on November 30, 2019, said the authorities.
He was handed a 6-month jail term and a suspended sentence for 18 months.
He was also asked to pay $650 as compensation and to complete 120 hours of unpaid work.
David Scutt, prosecuting, said that Bonchev received a call to collect Mallett and 3 others, who were heading down to the nightclub.
As the driver was taking the passengers to the club, one of the men farted, and the driver found that offensive.
He then asked the man to leave.
Mallett was also abusive to the police.
