The Champions Tennis League is a tennis championship league to be held in November 2014, and will be held across six Indian cities: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Chandigarh. This first edition of Champions Tennis League has been scheduled to be played from 17 to 26 November 2014. The tournament is the brainchild of retired professional tennis player Vijay Amritraj and is styled on the (cricket) Indian Premier League. The 10 day tennis exhibition tournament will be aired live on Sony SIX, the channel which also holds the broadcast rights for Indian Premier League. CTL 2014 is a very big event and is now taking place in India.
