UGC NET Exam Pattern :

First Session
Paper : I
Duration : 1¼ Hours (09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.)
Number of Question : 60 out of which 50 question to be attempted
Marks : 100

First Session
Paper : II
Duration : 1¼ Hours (10.45 A.M. to 12.00 NOON)
Number of Question : 50 questions all are compulsory
Marks : 100

Second Session
Paper : III
Duration : 2½ Hours (01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.)
Number of Question : 75 questions all are compulsory
Marks : 150

Age Limit for CSIR UGC NET 2015 :

Aspirants applied for UGC NET 2015 exam need to have minimum age of 28 years.
Junior Research Fellowship : The age limit for JRF is 28 years of age.
Lectureship : There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility.
A relaxation up to 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PWD/OBC this is as per the government rules.

Educational Qualification for CSIR UGC NET 2015 :

Aspirants those interested in applying for UGC NET 2015 they should have obtained minimum 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR an equivalent examination from universities / institutions recognized by UGC.

Application Fee for CSIR UGC NET 2015:

Aspirants those who want to apply for the UGC NET 2015 exam need to pay the application fee. The application fee is different for each category. Candidates have to pay the fee either by credit/ debit card or through echallan generated during the online filling of the application form at any branch of Syndicate/ Canara ICICI Bank.

General candidates- Rs. 600/-
Other Backward Classes- Rs. 300/-
SC/ ST/ PWD candidates- Rs. 150/-.
