If you have followed the Ad’s of the Apple Iphone, you will notice that every phone shows the time of 9:41am, and no other time is displayed on the screen… like everything there is a reason behind this as well and trust us it an amazing insight to know..

But do you know why particulary this time only?

Well, the reason is here…

Let us tell you very clearly, there is no astrological reason behind it. Rather a very interesting one and worth remembering one..Well it was a historic moment… Much before the phone was launched..
Steve Jobs was about to officially launch the Iphone & Ipads at Macworld Conference & Expo in 2007, through a keynote presentation and being a particular about everything Jobs wanted to be sure that when the slide of display comes in, exact time be mentioned on the phone… So, he calculated the time as when will that particular slide will appear and zeroed upon 9:41 am.

He clearly mentioned his creative and advertising team to alter the time with the one, when the slide will appear on the screen. And, you will be surprised, such was his calculation and timing that the slide did appeared near about 9:41 am and his words at that moment were “This is a day I’ve been looking forward to for two and a half years.”

As per Scott Forstall, senior vice president of iPhone software,

“We design the product launch keynotes so that the big reveal of the product happens around 40 minutes into the presentation. When the big image of the product appears on screen, we want the time shown to be close to the actual time on the audience’s watches. But we know we won’t hit 40 minutes exactly. And for the iPhone, we made it 42 minutes. It turned out we were pretty accurate with that estimate, so for the iPad, we made it 41 minutes. And there you are—the secret of the magic time.”
