Revealed: The Reason Behind Virat And Anushka Break Up Was Due To Rs. 40 Crore
The breakup news of Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and India’s star batsman Virat Kohli gained mileage in past few weeks. There have been numerous speculations over the reason for their break up. But you will be shocked to know the ‘REAL’ reason behind their breakup that has been revealed by Anushka Sharma’s close friend.
Earlier, it was heard that Virat had proposed Anushka for marriage but she refused due to career concerns, which further led to the separation. There were some other reasons too surrounding this news. But, according to a north Indian daily, Punjab Kesari, a friend of Anushka Sharma has highlighted that Kohli had invested INR 40 crore for Anushka starrer ‘Bombay Velvet’, which incidentally did not do well at the Box office.
This film by Anurag Kashyap starring Ranbir Kapoor along with Anushka took around 120 crores to make the film but it miserably failed at the box office and could only manage INR 24 crores.
After this failure, the couple had a heated conversation regarding the finances. Anushka Sharma got upset over Virat’s behaviour so she slipped into her “silent mode” and took a decision to break up with him. Furthur, Virat took it as a matter of self-esteem and declared himself as single on social media.
Although it has been recently reported that both are quite eager to get committed to each other again with news about Anushka calling Kohli post India’s victory in Asia Cup 2016, this new revelation has raised serious doubt over it.
