Reportedly, there were 15 Lakh Application Forms submitted under this recruitment, 12 Lakh candidates took the written examination and more than 65000 candidates were selected for the written test. DGP Shri OP Malhotra in the press release statement confirmed that lots of written test qualified candidates were unable to qualify in running test.
