Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a cult figure in India. MS Dhoni arguably enjoys the biggest fan-following among all the cricketers in IPL 2018. Whether he is playing for country or franchise it doesn’t matter to them, they just queue up to watch him. CSK made their comeback after two years and they are already table toppers.

On Friday, during the Indian Premier League match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals two things happened apart from CSK winning the match.

First it was a Dhoni fan who ran into the middle to touch his feet when he was walking in to bat at the fall of Suresh Raina’s wicket. Then fan-girl was spotted by the cameraman holding a placard with a special message for Dhoni.

“Sorry future partner, but MS Dhoni will always be my first love. I love you Mahi!” the text on the placard read.

ICC took notice of this moment and shared the picture on their official Twitter handle.

The picture went viral on internet and MS Dhoni’s fans started reacting. Even Pakistan fans were praising MS Dhoni.

Even though CSK’s home venue is changed to Pune there is no shortage of support for CSK and Dhoni.
Dhoni said, “The people over here, they supported me when I played for Pune, so you could say that it was good that I could return the favor. Yes, it’s Chennai Super Kings and not Pune Super Kings, but by the end of the seventh game, we’ll see more yellow here.”
CSK started this year IPL with a bang. Currently CSK have won 4 games out of 5 under Dhoni and currently leading on the points table. Out of these 5 games 4 of them were last over thrillers and CSK found themselves at the right end.
