Famous Snake Whisperer Dies After A Cobra Bite
Famous Malaysian snake whisperer Abu Zarin Hussin died after a cobra snake bite. He is known for his way with the venomous snakes. His pictures with the snakes taking selfies, exercising at the gym, working on the computer and while watching TV are the kind of pictures we often see of Abu Zain Hussin on the internet. There are even pictures of him kissing the snakes.
Hussin is a 33-year old Malaysian firefighter who is more popular with the name snake whisperer is no more. He died on Friday, a few days after he was bitten by a venomous cobra. Hussin was rushed to a hospital Monday after he was bitten in Pahang state. It is still not clear on why the snake bit him and on what context.
Hussin is also famous for his interaction with the cobras on Facebook and was propelled to the international internet fame after the English media reported – falsely – that he is married his pet snake because he believed that the serpent was his dead girlfriend reincarnated.
Regarding the news of his girlfriend reincarnation, in an interview with Star Online, Hussin said that he was disappointed that the tabloid writers snatched the pictures from his Facebook profile and published false stories about him.
Hussin says that he got the skills from his father, whom he called a “snake charmer,” and started training with snakes in 2007.
He also took place in a TV show called “Asia’s Got Talent,” in which the judges and viewers got rattled when he pulled out a large cobra on stage. This dangerous performance involved bumping his nose against the reptile’s head but that was not enough to convince the judges to advance him to the next round of the show.
However, this is not the first time he was bitten by a snake. In 2015 too, a cobra bite had placed him in coma for two days. Hussin was buried during a ceremony on Friday. Firefighters in uniform carried his body, wrapped in white cloth, and placed it at the funeral.
