On the other hand, after being arrested in a money laundering case filed by India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) he was released on a bail bond of £650,000 by the Westminster magistrates’ court, the court included certain bail conditions in which he was remanded to appear for the trail on 4th December.

Next after releasing Mallya spoke to the media, said that the allegations against him are fabricated, “I deny all allegations that have been made and I will continue to deny them,” said Mallya.

“I have not eluded any court. If it is my lawful duty to be here, I’m happy to be here, I’ve given enough evidence to prove my case,” added the 61-year-old businessman.

Chief magistrate Emma Louise Arbuthnot, the judge, has said that Mallya had been freed on the “same bail conditions as before”. Earlier, the UK’s crown prosecution service, which is arguing the case on behalf of the Indian government, had confirmed him assigning behind bars. Now in India, he has to pay Rs 9000 crores loans.
