Haryana Deputy Advocate General Gurdas Singh Salwara Suspended For Carrying Ram Rahim’s Briefcase [WATCH VIDEO]
Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was also found guilty in the rape case, murder and forced castrations by a special CBI court on 25 August 2017. After 200 hearings spread over 10 years and numerous stay orders of higher courts, a CBI special trial court in Panchkula on Friday convicted Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, in a case related to raping his female followers. The court will pronounce the sentencing on Monday.
Thus, from Wednesday, parts of Haryana, Punjab, and Chandigarh have been under a security lockdown as 200,000 supporters of Ram Rahim had assembled in Panchkula ahead of the verdict. Recently, Haryana Deputy Advocate General Gurdas Singh Salwara was involved in a controversy regarding Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Gurdas Singh was sacked for carrying Gurmeet Singh’s briefcase. As per the reports, Salwara is a close relative of Dera head Gurmeet Singh. He was seen carrying Gurmeet’s briefcase after the conviction.
Dera chief Ram Rahim Singh went to the CBI court in a convoy of hundreds of cars and after he was declared to be the culprit, he was being taken to Rohtak jail in a helicopter. It was at that moment that Haryana Deputy Advocate GeneralGurdass Singh Salwara was seen carrying his briefcase.
Soon, the video of Gurdas got spread like a wood fire and taking action on the same, the administration has suspended Gurdas Singh Salwara. Haryana Advocate General Baldev Raj Mahajan confirmed this news and said that Salwara had been suspended after the matter came to light.
The deputy advocate general was fired on the recommendation of his senior, Haryana’s Advocate General Baldev Raj Mahajan. “It is found that yesterday the (Mr. Salwara) accompanied the Baba,” Mr. Mahajan said, commenting that as a government employee, he was not allowed to do this.

Dera chief has been getting a lot of support from his followers and it was alleged that he was getting luxurious facilities in Rohtak jail. He was flown from Panchkula to Rohtak in a special helicopter, given an air-conditioned room and also distilled water. His adopted daughter was allowed to accompany him along with his luggage. But the jail officers denied such news.
