After a continuous political turmoil in Tamil Nadu state politics, here’s a moment where a verdict was drawn. Prospectus Chief Minister Sasikala is now slapped with four years imprisonment and ten years of political ineligibility.

What made everyone go mad is the name of another minister, who was never on the topic since the beginning.

Social media is going gaga over questioning about this ‘Edappadi Palanisamy’, this name is now trending on twitter soon after Sasikala announced him as her successor.

Coming to the details, Edappadi K Palanisamy, 57, is the loyalist for Sasikala and he was the minister of the public works department. Sasikala chose him as Paneerselvam was expelled from the AIDMK party in a meeting of about 120 legislators in a resort near Chennai.

Once his name was announced as the successor of Sasikala, people were boomed over the ambiguity regarding selecting him specifically, according to the sources, Palanisamy, the three-time MLA from Edappadi in the Kongu region was favoured by both Amma and Chinnamma deliberately from the beginning.
