We all know the struggles associated with finding a new job. It’s a bit challenging to the fresher’s to get into the competitive world at once. But, getting a well-paid job is a dream which every student wants to make it true!

Meet MR. Siddharth (21), a computer science engineering student who has made history by getting an offer of Rs. 1.25 crore from Uber Technologies, a cab service based in USA.

Yes, he is a student of Delhi Technological University (DTU) who has received a job offer with an annual salary of Rs.1.25 crore from United States-based cab-hailing company Uber Technologies.

This is the second-highest offer received by a student at DTU ever. In 2015, software giant Google hired a student for an annual salary of Rs.1.27 crore.

Siddharth will be joining the San Fransisco office of Uber and has been appointed at the designation of Software engineer. His salary includes a basic pay of Rs 71 lakh, while his salary increases to Rs. 1.25 crore after all other benefits are added.

For getting this job, Siddharth had to go through a difficult recruitment process in which he was asked to solve many problems then and there only. In his words,

“It was a delight to have received the job offer and I am now looking forward to move to San Francisco.”

However, it was little easy for Siddharth to get PPO, as he had already served as intern in Uber for seven months.

He was always interested in Computer Science and his achievement is more special as he is the first one from his family to become an engineer. His other interests are, “I loved playing video games, FIFA series, football and I also manage to play guitar, though I sing terribly.”

Head of Training and Placement of DTU, R.S Walia, said,

“This is the second best offer any DTU student has received, as Google offered Rs. 1.27 crore per annum to a student in 2015.”

“We already have 1050 offers from different companies. Around 200 companies have already visited the college and more in the line.”
