While the free Happy New Year offer ends on March 31st, voice calls, including roaming will remain free across India for all customers. Reliance Industries chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani on Tuesday announced that Reliance Jio crossed a subscriber base of 100-mn in record time. He went on to announce Jio Prime for all the existing customers.

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani announced the Jio Prime membership for initial customers of Reliance Jio. A custom program Jio Prime Membership program will be available for current Jio customers and for those who join before March 31.

From April Reliance Jio will charge its customers. All domestic voice calls to any network will be free across India, to any network. There will be no roaming charges, no hidden charges and no blackout days.

Jio prime membership starts from 1st March to 31st March. Where, you have to pay 99₹ for the membership and you will enjoy Jio existing offers for 303₹ per month.

Jio prime members can continue to enjoy unlimited benefits of New Year offer for another 12 months until March 31, 2018. Post-March 31, 2018, Jio Prime membership will allow users to enjoy its 4G services at Rs 303 per month.New subscribers enrolling before March 31, 2017, can also avail the service.

Speaking about the service, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman, RIL, said, “We are putting together of line up of attractive deals and offers from Jio and our partners for Jio prime members. We are committed to returning your trust in us and committed to give you back many surprises in coming days.”

Jio Prime details: Rs 99 for first year, then Rs 303 per month for another year.

Ambani said Jio’s services has crossed the 100 million mark in just 170 days and India is now the number one country in the world in terms of data usage. Ambani said Jio customers had consumed over 100 crore GB of data in January 2017.Existing users can enroll via MyJio app or log into company’s website as well as via Jio offline stores.
