This Kerala Clerk’s Efforts Against Anti-Bribery Drew Attention From Minister Venkaiah Naidu And Here’s Everything You Must Know About Him

We are living in such a country where diverse mindsets exist, especially in government servants. There is someone who doesn’t let you pass on with your formal processes without taking atleast hundreds of rupees. Some government representatives even demand lakhs of money to fulfill your simple deeds, technically all that has become mandatory is bribe.

Now here’s a clerk from Kerala, works in a gram panchayat and is absolutely generous to his profession and the people around him. His efforts against bribary are something everyone must admire. These days people like this are absolutely as rare as mercury. His service to the concerned common people drew huge attention from people across the country including the Cabinet minister Venkaiah Naidu.

Coming  into the details, Abdul Saleem Palliyalthody, a panchayat clerk at the Angadipuram panchayat office in the state, attested a board nearby his desk, on which it is written:

“The government pays me Rs. 811 a day (Rs. 24,340 a month) to serve you. If you are not happy with my service, please tell me about it.”

Saleem has been updating the salary numbers since three years, as there’s an increment according to the norms. His work at the office is not limited to the four walls, he advocates everyone who is needy and people belonging to his place claim that unlike every other employee, he belongs to that place and his way of working has huge positive impact on the surroundings.

Despite his health issues, as  he suffers from 40 per cent polio disability, he never deters from making the field trips.

And this is what our Union minister Venkaiah Naidu has to say about him:
