Youth Goes Live On Facebook & Commits Suicide By Jumping From19th Floor Of Hotel Taj

Our lives are infused with pain and suffering. Some people experience more of these regrettable situations early in life than others. Yet, we can overcome hardship with hope. But some people take their misfortunes so seriously and end their life.

As we all know Life is a precious gift of God but few fail to realize its importance, one of them was Arjun Bharadwaj, who had everything but was in no mood to live.

Arjun is a 24-year-old engineering student from Narseemonji college (Mumbai), committed suicide by jumping from 19th floor of Bandra’s Taj Hotel.

Before committing suicide, he went live on Facebook and talked about certain things one must do before committing suicide; social media users were shocked to see such a bizarre video.

He checked into the hotel at around 3 am and completed all the formalities. In this video, you can see him writing suicide notes, getting drunk, eating pasta and then showing the beautiful view from his room. After all this, he broke the glass windows of his room and jumped off (This wasn’t recorded).

Watch his video:

No one expected that after this 1:43-minute long video, Arjun would be no more. He jumped from the window at around 6.20 pm, leaving behind a suicide note in which he had written that he was depressed. Basically, Arjun was from Bengaluru and had come to Mumbai for his engineering studies.

He had even posted a picture of the view from his room and captioned it, “View to die for”!

As soon as guards noticed Arjun’s body, they informed the hotel management and rushed him to Leelavati Hospital. Unfortunately, Arjun was declared dead by the doctors.

Senior Inspector Pandit Thackeray said that in his suicide note, Arjun said sorry to his parents and wrote, “Miss you friends”. Arjun’s family came from Bengaluru to collect his body.

Even after repeated attempts, Arjun couldn’t pass his 3rd year engineering exams, and might be this was the reason he was stressed; currently, investigation is going on and officials are trying to find out the exact cause of his depression.

Soon after the incident, the Mumbai police posted a tweet for the youth and assured them that the police is always there to help:

He shouldn’t have taken such a drastic step, don’t you feel so? For youngsters, life has become a game and they don’t value it at all. Isn’t this wrong?
