Jallikattu Protests Turns Out Tragic After A 16-Year-Old Gets Crashed From Train’s Electric Shock

Tamilians protests for lifting the ban on the cultural festival Jallikattu is taking leaps every day. Earlier, the protests were limited to a couple of active circles and the capital’s crowd areas. Later, the issue went viral on social media and the whole country started focussing on the issue.

People from remote parts of the state joined the moment by Tuesday midnight. The issue topped the charts when the protesters turned aggressive and barred the railway routes throughout the state which connects crucial parts of the country.

Soon after the lathi charge that happened at the premises of Satyabhama University, the further violent case is identified at Salem railway line. 16-Year-Old Lokesh is one of the protesters who is actively participating in blocking the railway routes. This teenager, unfortunately, crashed down from the train after getting hit by an electric shock.

Within a short span of few milliseconds, nearly 80% of his body is burnt. However, the boy was admitted to the nearest hospital and his mother is still unable to digest the miserable condition of her son.

Sources claim that the duty of averting the train must be done by the respective police authorities, and the request for the mic was shut down even after the accident has occurred.

Though the protesters appealed to the government for providing a better venue for strikes, the government bluntly ignored them and granted odd places.

Even though the protests were carried across the vital parts of the state peacefully, considerable outbreaks of violence are registered in parts.
