Akshay Kumar Has Once Again Made Us Proud With His Tribute To BSF Jawans
The Bollywood star, Akshay Kumar visited the BSF base camp in Jammu and paid tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in ceasefire violations and encounter. Akshay Kumar has always been very considerate and compassionate towards the Indian Army. He never leaves a single chance of appreciating our soldiers.
The actor narrated an emotional conversation he had with a mother of one of the martyrs, “I was assuming that his mother’s voice will be low & defeated, instead, she sounded full of pride. She said that it is a matter of joy that her son laid down his life for the country”.
Akshay said something very special to BSF Jawans; he said “Fortunate that I got the opportunity to come and meet you. I have always said I’m a reel hero, you are the real hero.” When a reporter asked him about peace between Indian and Pakistan, Akshay stated: “Peace is important as many lives are lost; I think peace is the only way out.”
“We are not discussing fights, we are discussing love. We are discussing things about BSF,” he said.

Mobile App For BSF:
Akshay gave an idea of a mobile application for BSF. He said: “There are a lot of people in India who want to help BSF and army martyrs. Why cannot we make such an App, in which the names of martyrs of BSF and army, their account numbers and that of their parents are displayed.”

Speaking about donations to jawans he said: “They are decorated with a lot of medals and that is good. The Samman (honor) was required for them but they need the money too. You have to be practical.”
