Ola Cab Driver Reply To A Guy Who Had No Money To Pay The Bill Will Win Your Hearts!
Narendra Modi announced demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes from today to make the Indian economy better. Although this is a very good move, this “All of a sudden” announcement has caused a lot of trouble to common citizens.
Since the 500 and 1000 notes are banned and banks and ATMs are closed, people are facing a serious problem with their daily needs. Everyone in the market like vegetable sellers, medical stores, Taxi drivers, shopkeepers, no one is accepting these notes. Even the petrol bunks are rejecting the 500 and 1000 notes. Here is a heart touching story where a cab driver showed a true Indian nature to a Delhi citizen who has no money to pay.
Viplav Arora, a resident of Delhi has shared an incident of an Ola driver and it is winning the hearts. This guy is unaware of 500 and 1000 notes ban and took an Ola cab from his home to the railway station. He doesn’t have money to pay the cab fare.
He had all Rs 500 notes in his wallet, and later, when the Ola driver informed him about the ban, he had no option but to pay him through Ola money. Sadly, the total bill amount was more than the money he had in “Ola Money”. Viplav is out of his mind because all the ATMs were closed.
He shared what the cab driver Vipin Kumar reply on Facebook and it is surely quite heart-warming:
“Booked an ola from home to railway station today. Unfortunately I had all 500 notes in my wallet at that time and I was totally aware of scrapping of Rs. 500 & Rs. 1000 currency, so decided to pay via Ola money.
But somehow my bill for ride was little over the amount I had in ola money and rest of amount I was supposed to pay to driver in cash.
No ATM’s were working and for sure nobody would give you change against 500 note.
Reply of driver at that time not only earns respect for himself but also I am writing this post because of that.
He replied-
” Sir baaki k paise rehne dijiye , do paise kam kama lenge ,thodi si takleef hogi or vo to sab ko ho rhi hai, ab sarkaar ke faisley ka samaan krte hue , desh ki tarakki me ye hamara yogdaan hi samjh lenge. Aap befikr hokar apni train lijiye.”
Salute to that driver #vipinkumar and he proved the PM Modi quote in which he said – Common man of India always ready to face hardship in country’s interest.
#oladriver #appreciation #respect”
