Watch: Narendra Modi’s Mother Standing In Queue To Exchange Currency Notes At A Bank In Gandhi Nagar

It has been a week since India Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a bold decision of scrapping 500 and 1000 notes to eradicate corruption and black money. This decision has triggered a massive chaos all over the country. Though people are facing a lot of problems in exchanging the notes, they are happy for Narendra Modi’s decision.

Many opposite parties have opposed Modi for his decision and raised the problems of common people in this situation. But it takes some time to get all set to normal. Modi has been talking about this issue every day and he is correct in many cases. He became emotional while addressing this ban issue also urged to bear with him in the fight against corruption.

Leading by example, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 95-year-old mother Heeraben visited a bank in Gujarat’s Gandhi Nagar to exchange her currency notes. Heeraben arrived in a wheelchair at a private bank near her home and waited for her turn to exchange demonetized currency for Rs 4,500 at the bank in the Gujarat capital.

She later showed a new 2,000 rupee note to the media. PM Modi once said that his mother has sacrificed everything for him and his family.

In a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh, Modi said the tough step was necessary to bring out black or undeclared wealth stashed by the corrupt. He also attacked Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for visiting a bank, calling it a photo op.
