An Air India passenger was shocked after he was served meal onboard while traveling to Chicago from Hyderabad.

Earlier, we had seen few incidents from different Airlines which made into the news. And today, a passenger traveling on Air India flight to Chicago found a cockroach in the meal served onboard. He then prompted the airline to order a probe into the matter.

It happened on the Chicago-bound flight from Hyderabad via New Delhi. Taking a serious note of the incident, the carrier has also served notice to the caterer concerned. The passenger who was served with the meal containing cockroach took to Twitter to share the news and asked for an action.

When contacted, the airline’s senior manager for corporate communications Dhananjay Kumar said, “Air India took serious note of the incident and issued a notice to the caterer concerned immediately. Further investigation is going on.”

Following which Air India apologized for the inconvenience. In response, Air India tendered apologies for any inconvenience caused.
