Twitter Takes On TOI’s Sarcastic Headline About Sakshi Malik, Turns Out Very Aggressive!!
News, Twitter: Sakshi Malik scripted history last week by winning the bronze medal in the 58 kg category of women’s freestyle wrestling at the Rio Olympics 2016. With this, she became the first Indian female wrestler to win a medal at the Olympics.
While the country is overjoyed with her success, the Times of India being itself, posted quite an objectionable article on the Olympic champion here on twitter yesterday.
We don’t know what drives TOI to publish such crass headlines one after the other, but one thing is for sure : they aren’t learning their lessons.
The title of the blog reads – My Sultan Sakshi: But OMG with those muscles who will marry her?

In a bounce back to it, Twitter responded very angrily and aggressively over the “body shaming” headline that TOI put up on Twitter. The headline apparently asked who will marry Sakshi because she has big muscles.
See how People Replyed very Intensely at TOI:
@timesofindia a disgrace to indian women… What do u think when writing such captions?

@vaibk @timesofindia – thousand times agree with you brother. TOI has stooped low. Publicity at the cost of credibility and shame.
