Another Girl Makes India Proud! Wrestler Manisha Becomes 38kg World Champion, Wins Gold At Junior Meet
Another Indian girl makes us proud by winning Junior World Wrestling Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia. There’s no stopping sporting success for India at the world stage. After owning successes at the Rio Olympics and Paralympics, India’s girls are continuing their bid to make the nation proud.
This time, it is the young Manisha won gold in the 38kg weight category to bring home a gold medal for India. She dispatched opponents from strong wrestling countries like USA, Azerbaijan, Russia and Bulgaria to win India’s first Medal, a gold at these Championships.
She fought with Bulgaria’s Petya Zarkova Delcheva in the gold medal bout.

This girl made all of us proud and a nation with 125 crore people are extremely grateful to Manisha for this achievement, after few Olympic sweetness from Brazil and Paralympic performance, we have something more to celebrate.
