Dhruva is an upcoming Telugu film directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Allu Aravind under his banner Geetha Arts. It features Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Aravind Swamy.

Dhruva is the official remake of Tamil Super Hit Thani Oruvan(2015) which is directed by Mohan Raja and written by Subha. Thani Oruvan film starred Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in lead roles. In a recent interview, Jayam Ravi expressed his views about the remake of Thani Oruvan film by Ram Charan tej in Telugu.

Thani Oruvan is a big hit in Tamil. The main lead Jayam Ravi wants the film to get remakes into different languages with suitable lead roles. He wished ram Charan to get a huge success with this film and praised his work in Magadheera movie.

The best part is that Jayam Ravi is too honest and opined casting ram Charan in Dhruva is the perfect. He said: “One must have some recognition and image in the industry to play an ACP role”. He added, “Thani Oruvan must be remade in all different languages and with the suitable cast in respective languages”.

Ram Charan also has a yet-untitled project with Sukumar, which is likely to release after Diwali this year. Meanwhile, Ram Charan is also producing father Chiranjeevi’s 150th film “Khaidi No 15o”, which is the Tamil remake of the blockbuster film Kaththi.
