Fan Invades Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Jalsa’ Bungalow To Croon A Bhojpuri Song For The Superstar
A 23-year-old fan named Bullet Banwari Lal Yadav was reportedly arrested by Juhu Police for trespassing Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa bungalow. Yadav, a resident of Pune, but originally hailing from Bihar, wanted to croon a Bhojpuri song for the superstar and hence scaled the outer wall of the bungalow to meet the actor.
The incident took place on Sunday around 2pm when fans and well-wishers had gathered to get a glimpse of Big B. (Every Sunday, Bachchan greets his fans, who gather in large numbers outside his residence). While people were eagerly waiting for Bachchan, the accused swiftly entered Bachchan’s bungalow by climbing up the wall.
Yadav, who also claims to be a singer by profession, reportedly tried to meet the actor for five days but failed eventually. It was actor’s cook who saw Yadav scaling the wall and informed the security. Yadav was apprehended by the actor’s personal security guards before he was able to enter the house, the police said.
Yadav said he wanted to meet Bachchan and intended to sing a song in Bhojpuri for him. However, it is still unknown if Yadav was able to sing a song for the superstar before he got arrested. It also appears that the man did not have any malicious intention.
“Yadav was arrested on charges of trespassing and has been remanded in police custody till August 7,” said Mumbai Police spokesperson.
This is not the first time that someone has tried to trespass into the superstar’s bungalow to meet the actor. However, he definitely is the first to want to sing a Bhojpuri song to one of them.
