The worst thing about the Internet is that it is accessible to everyone, even few idiots who make misuse of it, but not everyone. They start some random trend and the innocent people who read them will be influenced by it and they can’t blame them for it.

Though it was false news, many believed that it was true and Dipa Karmakar has been trending since. The finals are yet to be started and they are scheduled on 14th August 2016. Meanwhile some idiots passed this fake news and spread the news on the Internet.
Earlier, she was qualified for the finals by securing the 8th spot in the list. She has performed one of the best moves which helped her to go into Vault Finals and she is the first Indian woman gymnast to qualify for the Finals. Many Facebook pages ended up this trap.

Even if we look at the timings in India and in Rio where Olympics are being conducted, they are different and it is one of the reasons why such fake news are being considered as true. We don’t need to highlight India, our athletes are representing our country and it is big enough for us to support them in every match. We don’t need such fake news and degrade our country’s name and fame.
