New Delhi: With the monsoon session of Parliament ready to start today, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Kesineni Srinivas on Tuesday wrote to Secretary-General of Lok Sabha to include a no-confidence motion also in the council of ministers over the Andhra Pradesh special status row among other issues that would be transacted in the House.

As on July 15, TDP Chief and Andhra Pradesh state Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu wrote several letters to all non-BJP, non-Congress parties’ presidents and Parliamentary party leaders seeking support on a no-confidence motion against the Central government in the upcoming monsoon session in the Parliament over the demand for special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

Apart from them, a team which included C.M. Ramesh, T.G. Venkatesh, and M. Murali Mohan also met DMK Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi in Chennai on Monday and asked for support on a no-confidence motion against the Centre.

Earlier to that, the TDP had made six-subgroups of all the party leaders who are to meet and deliver the letter and a booklet of Chandrababu Naidu. The booklet will explain the injustice done to the state and seek support.

The Parliament had already received three no-confidence notices in the last Budget Session over the issue of Centre’s refusal to grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
